MON – 07/01/19
What’s Up??? No surf again today but the onshore flow is starting to materialize and we could start to see some surf in the thigh high range by tomorrow and even bigger by the 4th. The forecast is calling for it to build and for some tropical moisture to make it’s way here by Tuesday night and into Wednesday, then clear out for the Holiday with some thigh to waist high surf on the radar screen if it all comes together. Not much today but maybe by tomorrow, we will have to wait and see.
There remain no organized tropical systems across the Atlantic Ocean, and do not foresee tropical development in the coming days. Much of the basin continues to be dominated by either high wind shear or large amounts of dry, dusty air. While there are several tropical waves traversing the Atlantic, the aforementioned factors will continue to inhibit any development through at least early next week.
