Good Saturday… The surf is really small but man is it nice out there with glassy water. As you can see it is only knee high but it is loggable, especially on a Stand Up. Great day to be on the beach like my friend Pastor Mike and his tribe from Calvary Chapel West Houston, they are always stoked to be on the beach in any conditions. Today is the first day of Hurricane Season and wouldn’t you know it, there is an Invest in the Bay of Campeche. It is not going to be an issue for us but here we go kids!!
Invest 91-L is a broad area of low pressure centered over the west coast of the Yucatan Peninsula is causing numerous showers and thunderstorms over much of northern Central America and southern Mexico. This feature is expected to move north and westward into the southern Bay of Campeche this weekend and near the east coast of Mexico early next week. Given sufficiently warm water, this low pressure area could evolve into an organized tropical system if it remains offshore. However, the low pressure might remain too close to land to become a fully developed tropical feature.
