SUN – 02/10/19

CONDITIONS: Waist High, Easterly Down The Beach, Strong Current, Choppy, Windy, Sunny…
SURF REPORT:

Good Sunday Morning… The winds have begun to shift to a more onshore direction but still are heavily influenced by an Easterly flow with ESE winds 20-25 MPH on the beach this morning. That has begun to kick up some waist high, choppy, down the beach wind swell that is really not good and along with it there is a strong East to West current in place. The strong winds will slowly turn more south as the day progresses so it might start to get a little more organized by late this afternoon but most likely tomorrow. It is forecast to build a little more ahead of the next cold front that is forecast to cross the coast Monday night just after midnight. According to the forecast the front will come in with 15 MPH North winds so it will start to knock it down early, so we can hope that by Dawn Patrol on Tuesday we may have some clean, knee to maybe thigh high surf… Keep an eye on the cams, if the winds shift more south and relaxes a bit there could be a sloppy, but rideable bump to go out and play on later today or for tomorrow…
