CONDITIONS: Waist High, Strong Current, Choppy, Windy, Periods of Heavy Rain
SURF REPORT:

Good Wednesday Morning… The surf is in the waist to even chest high range but with 30 MPH winds and storm conditions it is not happening. Keep an eye on the cams and if the winds let up there could be some workable surf, just keep in mind there is lightning in the area. The forecast is calling for a better chance of surf tomorrow afternoon, we will have to see.

Here is what is happening today, the atmosphere is extremely saturated and reports indicate that some spots in southeastern Texas are reporting at least 2 to 3 inches of rainfall per hour. Short range forecast guidance are forecasting persistent and repeated rounds of heavy rainfall across southeastern Texas and southwestern Louisiana this afternoon. This heavy rainfall is likely to continue tonight, especially across the far upper Texas coast and across southwestern Louisiana before shifting a little further east on Thursday. The fact that the atmosphere is so saturated could mean there could be lingering periods of showers through the morning hours tomorrow before we truly see the rain taper off… Please note that I provide this data to you for informational purposes only and that in order to make life or death decisions concerning weather, you need to get the facts from your local weather & OEM resources…
